Date moves from Thursday July 17th to Saturday July 19th!
BDS Promotions announced a rescheduling of the 'Hillbilly Qualifier' event originally set for this coming Thursday night. The event will now run on Saturday July 19th, featuring $2000 to win feature events for both the 'Midcap Land & Timber' Late Model division, and the 'Steel Block Mafia' sanctioned Late Model feature. Additionally, the winner of the 'Sistersville Center/ Genesis Health Care' AMRA modified main will earn $700. Also racing in 'Hillbilly Qualifier' events will be the 'WXCR Classic Rock' Pure Stocks, 'Wayside Furniture' Mod-Lites, and the 'Custom Engraving and Awards' Junkyard Warriors and Mini-Wedges. After crowning mother nature mid season champion after the speedway suffered it's seventh rainout of the season on Thursday, July 3rd Tyler County Speedway regretfully has had to cancel the Eve of Destruction 5 set to take place on Saturday Night, July 5th as steady rainfall over the last couple of weeks have left the infield too saturated to safely put on a show. Races wiped out once again at the Tyler County Speedway for Thursday Night, July 3rd. Mother Nature crowned Mid Season Champion as she put a stop to racing action for the third time in a row and seventh time of the 08' season.

Jun 28, 2008 -- Tyler County Speedway Cancelled |
Racing action scheduled for Saturday Night, June 28th at the Tyler County Speedway has been cancelled due to a heavy thunderstorm that rolled through and a forecast for additional severe thunderstorms throughout the evening. Legends Night will be rescheduled for Saturday Night, July 26th and the fogged out pure stock and mod lite features from June 14th will be ran on Saturday Night, July 5th.
